Hannah Edgerly's indescribable journey with Pulse 100

Hannah Edgerly grew up in a Christian home and cannot remember a day she didn’t know Jesus. As a young girl, Hannah would be at the dinner table eating, while telling her mother that Jesus was in the empty seat beside her. Looking back, Hannah sees that her childhood was filled with a loving family that taught her how to love Jesus and faithfully serve His people. But there came a time in her life when she was ready to take her faith a level deeper. 

So, in the summer of 2021 Hannah made the decision to be baptized at a Pulse Revival night. Pulse Revival nights are events that include worship, testimonies, water baptisms, and a message. This decision to attend spurred on a hunger to grow even further in her faith. So, Hannah applied for the Pulse 100 program which is an evangelistic training program led by the evangelist Nick Hall. And Hannah was accepted into the program! 

At Hannah’s first Pulse 100 retreat, downtown Minneapolis, MN, she most vividly remembers a profound moment evangelizing. On her way to the Mall of America, she felt the Lord tell her that “You are going to meet someone who is broken and hurt, and I need you to show them my love.” Upon arriving at the mall she walked in the bathroom and asked a woman how her day was going and this woman poured out her heart to Hannah. Hannah gave this woman a Bible, told her about Jesus, and to this day prays for the salvation of this woman’s soul. 

Another memorable moment Hannah had at a Pulse 100 retreat was when Nick Hall gave an impassioned sermon about sharing the Gospel with the people in our life. Hannah remembers Nick saying, “When you get to heaven, are you going to be able to look at God and say that you did everything you could to share the Gospel with the people in your life?” This particular line in his sermon moved Hannah beyond words and further encouraged her to grow in her faith walk. 

“Pulse 100 has opened doors I never thought I would be able to touch. It has given me skills, strategies, and wisdom that I would have never been able to receive anywhere else. I have received confidence in Christ knowing that He has called and equipped me in all situations and circumstances. I don’t have to be scared to share the Gospel with people because I know my God is with me.” Through Pulse 100’s mentorship, masterclasses, group studies, retreats, community, and sermons, Hannah has grown profoundly in her walk with Jesus and in her confidence in being able to share the Gospel with others. 

Pulse 100 has also provided Hannah with lifelong friendships that she didn’t know she could have. She knows that these are the kinds of friends who will weep with her, pray with her, and walk through the ups and downs of life with her. Hannah is so sad her Pulse 100 journey is almost over, but she is so excited for the next cohort to begin. 

To sum up Hannah’s experience with Pulse 100 she remarked, “What has Pulse 100 done for me? It is indescribable.”
