As a content creator, Austin Huang’s goal is to proclaim the Gospel to the ends of the earth. He wants people who are curious about Christianity or who have walked away from their faith to find his content and hear God speak to them.

Austin grew up in a Christian household and remembers a specific moment when he was 9 years old and heard a pastor speaking on a passage in Revelation. “In that moment, I think it became real for me—Christ’s love for us.”

Shortly after graduating college in May of 2023, Austin met a group of friends who introduced him to Pulse 100. “They told me about it, and I applied immediately,” he said, adding that he got accepted in September.

Since joining, Austin has been blown away by Pulse’s generosity. From travel costs being covered to having a team of leaders that pours into the lives of the participants, Austin said he doesn’t understand how this training is free, noting how grateful he is for everything Pulse 100 has given him access to.

Austin’s favorite part of Pulse 100 is the community of other young believers who are united by the same passion for sharing the Gospel. Before joining, he noted that he didn’t truly know what an evangelist was. Now, Austin feels confident that this is his calling and has already been seeing God at work through the ways he’s been able to share the Gospel with others.

Looking ahead, Austin hopes to step into full-time evangelism and start a ministry in Austin, Texas. He noted the coincidence with his name and said, “I view it now as a very prophetic thing that God kept me there and wanted me to be there for a reason.”

Pulse 100 has been transformative to Austin discovering his calling, giving him the resources and connections needed to set him up and give him credibility as he moves forward. “I really do view Pulse 100 as the opportunity of a lifetime.”
